2016 has long come and gone and while it may be hard to believe, it was the year that we celebrated the 50th anniversary of our matriculation from high school. This year will be 58 years.
In 2029 SACS celebrates the 200th year since its founding!
As we approach the momentous occasion of our 200-year anniversary, ‘SACS 200’, is beginning to ignite the imagination of the entire SACS community. This significant milestone presents a golden opportunity to rally together and secure vital funds to ensure the continued longevity of the school.
The SACS Endowment Trust was established in 2021 with the aim of securing a bright and prosperous future for SACS. Together, we can make a significant difference and ensure that our cherished institution continues to thrive for centuries to come. The SACS Endowment Trust has been established as an independent and professional entity to efficiently receive donations and create a sustainable long-term funding platform for the ongoing development of SACS. To find out more about the Endowment Trust or to make a donation contact Kate Maurel: [email protected].
Those lucky enough, are now well over 70. A biblical milestone!
Those lucky enough to survive/escape COVID-19. A health milestone!
SO, IS ANYONE UP FOR A 60TH REUNION?
HOW ABOUT THE AUSTRALIAN AND NEW ZEALAND GUYS ORGANIZING A JOINT REUNION IN SYDNEY IN 2026?
This website was originally created as a platform to launch a reunion, but it turned out to be the main way we actually recognized this anniversary.
The plan now is to continue to keep this site up and running and lets push towards our sixty year anniversary which is coming up in 2026. You are still encouraged to add your photographs (both from your school years and more current) to the site, as well as any news that you would like to share. It is never too late to add your contribution, so please share your memories with folks that can actually relate to them. Go through those old photo albums before your kids throw them out. When you are gone......they are gone!
Along the way we have lost some classmates. Please let us know of any we may have missed so that we can include and honour their names.

My father Len Lipman gave an address to the annual SACS Old Boys dinner in Sydney on Tuesday night
As far as we know he is the oldest old boy at 98 years old. Also attending as you can see in the photo below were my 2 brothers Gerald on the left and Robert on the right of the photo. Also there from our era: Rory McCarthy, Ernie Kirsten, David Rabie, Phil Lipshitz and from Junior school days Roy Abrams and Mervyn Levin.
Further news, I have recently come back from the Rugby World Cup in Japan which was fantastic and spent time with Harold Joffe. We were staying at the same hotel by coincidence
